About OurKin Care

OurKin Care is a shared family hub for the people looking after someone they love. It brings the whole of caregiving into one place: who is visiting today, what still needs doing, which appointment is coming up, what medication is due and what changed since yesterday.

It is built for families, friends and neighbours who have found themselves coordinating care between work, children and everything else, usually across group chats, paper diaries and memory. It is also for the person being cared for, who can see their own day in a simple, large-text view. Paid helpers and care professionals can be given exactly the access they need, no more.

The aim is quiet and practical: less repeating yourself, fewer things dropped, and everyone able to see that the load is being shared fairly. Care information is private by default, access is checked for every record, and the person at the centre of the circle is asked for their agreement before sensitive care details are opened to the circle.

OurKin Care is built by a small independent team who have coordinated care within their own families. We build slowly, test with real households and carers, and keep the language plain enough to use together at the kitchen table. If something in the app does not fit the way your family works, we want to hear about it.
